NavAid is a free, open-source CVFR flight-route planning tool that runs entirely in your web browser. By using NavAid you agree to these terms.
NavAid is a planning aid only. It is NOT certified for navigation and must not be used as a primary means of navigation or for in-flight decision-making. Always plan and fly using current official aeronautical charts, publications (AIP), NOTAMs and weather from authoritative sources, and comply with all applicable aviation regulations and ATC instructions. The pilot in command is solely responsible for the safe conduct of every flight.
NavAid is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and accuracy or completeness of data. Aeronautical data, charts and calculations may be outdated, incomplete or incorrect.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the author shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, NavAid.
Your routes and settings are stored locally in your browser, and — only if you choose to connect Google Drive — in your own Google Drive's hidden app folder. See the Privacy Policy for details. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of any data that matters to you.
Map tiles and charts are provided by third parties (flight-maps.com, Esri, OpenStreetMap, CAAI / Israeli Ministry of Transport) and remain subject to their own terms and copyrights. NavAid is not affiliated with these providers.
NavAid is open-source software; the source is available at github.com/msupino/NavigationApp under its published licence.
These terms may be updated; the "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
